Our Volunteer Policy ensures a clear framework for recruitment, training, and ongoing support, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. It outlines the roles and responsibilities of volunteers, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding, health and safety, and professional conduct when mentoring students or assisting adults with career transitions. All volunteers are required to complete safeguarding training and hold an Enhanced DBS clearance to ensure the safety and well-being of those we serve.


The policy also highlights our commitment to treating volunteers with respect and dignity, providing them with the guidance and resources needed to succeed in their roles. We strive to create a safe, collaborative space where volunteers feel valued and empowered. Whether mentoring students, tutoring adults, or contributing to administrative tasks, volunteers play a vital role in helping us achieve lasting, positive change in the lives of individuals and communities.
