Safeguarding Policy
At Opportunity Boost, safeguarding is at the core of everything we do. Our Safeguarding Policy ensures the protection of children and adults from harm, neglect, abuse, and exploitation in all our activities, including career change training for adults and mentoring students in schools. This policy outlines our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment while adhering to all relevant legal frameworks and best practices. Every staff member, volunteer, and contractor is required to uphold these standards, complete mandatory safeguarding training, and maintain a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
Through clear guidelines, robust reporting procedures, and ongoing training, we empower our team to recognize and respond effectively to safeguarding concerns. We are guided by principles of zero tolerance for abuse, proactive prevention, and collaboration with external agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals we serve. Opportunity Boost is dedicated to continuously reviewing and improving its safeguarding practices, fostering an environment where everyone feels protected and supported.
